A 40.000 km detour to communities

With a ridiculous detour we circle the northern hemisphere in our old army ambulance. From The Netherlands we drive eastwards to Turkey, following parts of the ancient Silk Road, through the far and remote corners of Central Asia into China. We cross the Himalaya in Tibet and Nepal and continue through India, Myanmar and Thailand. From there we plan to ship our trusty bus over the Pacific Ocean, to eventually arrive in The New World. A 40.000 km expedition through time and cultures.

On the right you can see the first part of the planned route. Below the actual route we drove up till the latest blog. The red markers are the places we slept. (not 100% accurate, for questions/tips about places we stayed: send us an e-mail)
